Earlier this year, we put out a call: Who’s still running the oldest air conditioner in the Valley?

We got some amazing entries—units that had weathered more than their fair share of Arizona summers. But one stood out above the rest.

Drum roll…

David Kinzer of Mesa is the winner of our first-ever Oldest A/C Unit in the Valley contest! David has lived in his home for 38 years… and his A/C system? It’s been there since before he moved in. Yes–this A/C’s been working hard for over four decades!

To thank him for giving his system the longest victory lap imaginable, we’re hooking David up with a brand-new air conditioning system, completely free. Our team will be installing it soon—and yes, we’ll be sharing some great before-and-after shots.
